employment contracts

Employment law obligations require an employer to issue an employee with individual terms and conditions of employment within 8 weeks of their recruitment date.  Each time a term or condition changes they must also be given the variation in writing.

i4hr provide a tailored employment contract specific to each individual employee:

  • hours of work - what is their work schedule (e.g. full time, part time work, term time, etc)?
  • trial/probationary period - are new personnel reviewed before becoming permanent?
  • pay - do you pay overtime for extra hours worked?
  • compensation and benefits - can they use their company vehicle for private journeys?
  • holiday entitlement - do you need them need to work weekends or bank holidays?
  • sick pay - are they entitled to more than statutory sick pay?
  • pension provisions - should you provide access to a stakeholder pension scheme?
  • notice periods - what notice is needed if they are leaving the company?
  • restrictions - are they prevented from poaching your customers or working for a competitor?
